Finland Blogsposure, travel destination marketing campaign for winter season by Visit Finland.

Launched in February 2013, Finland Blogsposure is Visit Finland initiative as exciting travel destination in winter as it is in the summer. The campaign is run in February and showcased Finland as winter destination by empassing the breath of options available for visitors at the time of year.

According to Mervi Holmen, Visit Finland’s marketing director, Finland offer something different and unique for the visitor in all seasons. Visit Finland is set to host bloggers like Ayngelina Brogan, Pete and Dalene Heck, Michael Hodson, Michael Tieso and Stephanie Yoder, who will each undertake separate itineraries during the middle of February, featuring activities such as trekking, rapids floating, photographing the Northern Lights, meeting reindeer farmers, exploring the native Sami culture, riding on an icebreaker ship, looking at an ice castle, and discovering the diversity of food, culture and life in Helsinki.

Work together with Navigate Media Group, the campaign run under hashtag #VisitFinland on Twitter and Instagram, as well as the travelling blog of host bloggers and its social media account. As part of the integrated strategy, a Pinterest presence also has been created for Visit Finland, as well as Facebook app as its marketing tools.
