Launched by The Philippine Department of Tourism (DOT) in January 6, 2013, “It’s more fun in the Philippines” is the new slogan for Philippines international market and “#1 for fun Philippines” is the new slogan for the domestic market.
Developed by advertising agency BBDO Guerrero Proximity Philippines, The Philippine Department of Tourism also launched a new website for the campaign as the online presence. Social media also become the main advertising pillar, as well as the traditional.
Before “Pilipinas Kay Ganda” the country had the more popular “WoW Philippines” catch phrase as its tourism slogan.
