“Only in Singapore, Right Now!”, a tourism marketing campaign by Singapore Tourism Bureau (STB).
Launched in Jakarta (Indonesia) on November 22, 2012, “Only in Singapore, Right Now!” is part of the series of customised tourism marketing campaign of Singapore for China, Australia, India, Indonesia and Malaysia.
Targeted to Indonesian travelers and holiday makers, “Only in Singapore, Right Now!” focused on tailoring and delivering experiences that are based on a deeper understanding of consumer needs in key visitor-source markets.
The “Only in Singapore, Right Now!” campaign leverages such valuable insights to deepen Singapore engagement with Indonesian tourists as one of the important target market. With its location that only a stone’s throw away from Indonesia, Singapore is an ideal destination for frequent trips.
Indonesians travel abroad for differentiated lifestyle needs such as shopping, entertainment, attractions and dining. A majority are free and independent travellers (FIT) who are familiar with nearby city destinations and are particularly drawn to new experiences. Social media is the biggest source of information sharing.
Some marketing efforts like PR, print, mobile, advertising, as well as social media like Facebook and Twitter, become part of its integrated marketing campaign strategy. In addition, STB also incorporates strategy collaborations with third party like AirAsia Indonesia and Standard Chartered Indonesia to co-create and offer exiting offers.
