Summer is Dubai, Events Promotion and Marketing Campaign of Dubai
“Summer is Dubai” is the promotion of the 2013 summer season in Dubai as one coordinated citywide effort embracing Dubai Summer Surprises, Modhesh World, Ramadan in Dubai and Eid in Dubai across the tourism, retail, hospitality, leisure and events sectors.
Launched in May 6, 2013, Summer is Dubai marketing campaign is organised by the Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment (DEPE) which now being an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM).
With the family as the very heart of what Dubai has to offer, Summer is Dubai is designed in a way that embraces the core values of Togetherness, Joy, Harmony and Discovery – which will come together seamlessly during the 13 weeks of “Summer is Dubai”.
The campaign slogan “Summer is Dubai” itself stems from the view that no other destination can offer a holistic summer experience – family attractions, concerts, events, promotions and hospitality — like Dubai does, because Dubai as a city is not only built for summer but is also the one place that knows how to make the best of every summer. In addition to the events there are several attractions and incentives to visitors including a fabulous offer that will allow two children under 12 to stay for free at leading hotels and eat for free and other benefits when families buy a special summer package.
