International TV advertising and marketing campaign of Danish travel search site, momondo.
Launched in January 14, 2013, on several TV channels in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany and Russia, the advertising campaign is aimed to send the message that an open world is a better world.
According to Martin Lumbye, Board Member of momondo, we meet other people when we travel. We remember moods and recollect the sounds, tastes and colours. There are many emotions associated with travel. There is more to travel than just flights and transporting yourself from one place to another. Travel is about people, feelings and exploration. That’s what momondo want to bring forward with the commercials and that was the initial reason behind launching momondo back in 2006.
Travel is also about exploring new places and meeting new faces. Therefore, as part of the integrated marketing campaign strategy, momondo also following 27 young talents in nine different countries. which called as “Local Fighters” as they fight with determination to reach their goals and show their talents to the world. momondo will follow their journeys – witnessing their successes, victories and defeats.
Voted for the second year in a row the Danish consumers as “Best Travel Website” and received a Danish Travel Award, momondo is a Danish initiative founded by experienced people from the travel industry and skilled programmers with a passion for new technology, travelling the world and meeting new people that launched in 2006.
