Launched on November 2013 Tourist Organization of Serbia (TOS), Lifestyle Serbia aimed to promote tourism in Serbia in 2014 will be, as announced, aimed at young people. High spirit, energy and laid-back lifestyle are words tourists use to describe their visit to Serbia. The Lifestyle Serbia marketing campaign wishes to show off a youthful, urban Serbia. Contemporary and fast, but never missing an opportunity to sit down and catch up with friends over coffee. Serbia of 21st century, but one that respects tradition. And, shares it on Instagram. Serbia that loves sunshine, its rivers & mountains, and knows how to enjoy every moment.
The first of five promotional videos from the Lifestyle Serbia campaign is now available on Youtube channel. One each day, The remaining Lifestyle Serbia videos will be uploaded to the above mentioned channel. These videos represent the lifestyle of young people in Serbia in order to introduce it to their peers from around the world.
The “Lifestyle Serbia” campaign was filmed during two months at 12 destinations in Serbia, and will last for 10 months and feature 120 young people in the country who are up to date with global trends, but who also respect their traditions and cultural heritage, and who will show what their lifestyle in Serbia is. The project was designed with the aim to present Serbia to young people all over the world as a receptive destination, displaying the Serbian creativity, innovation, entertainment, gastronomy and active vacation in the country.
As part of the integrated marketing strategy, the online campaign also use social networks to reach young people and present the tourist offer of the country and motivate them to engage in joint activities on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, promoting the beauty of Serbia, thus attracting tourists. A blog site will also be prepared at Lifestyle.serbia.travel that will publish reports on various destinations across Serbia, with interesting stories and suggestions for travelling. The campaign covers the whole country, and in the first phase the emphasis is on modern Serbia and its beauties, from Subotica through Belgrade to Zlatibor and Niš. It will feature young people who enjoy things that these regions offer, the same qualities which attract a large number of tourists every year.
