Released by Skyscanner on January 14, 2021, the interactive and up-to-date global map is aimed to help translate current rules and regulations, in response to traveler demand for transparent, trusted advice.
Based on a new survey from Skyscanner, the confidence among American citizens who want to travel overseas is low due to the complexity of current rules and regulations. The survey also revealed that changing travel guidance and destination restrictions mean 51% of American travelers don’t feel confident knowing where you can and can’t travel to.
Accoring to Skyscanner, people want to travel once it is safe to do so but confidence has been hit by the lack of consistency between countries worldwide regarding measures and restrictions. Travelers just don’t understand the complex rules and are crying out for transparent, detailed information.
As response of the survey, a simple-to-use interactive global map to provide up-to-date information on where travelers can visit internationally, and related entry requirements, has been launched by Skyscanner.
The new interactive global map is available via the homepage of the Skyscanner’s website. It is live, constantly updated and full of rich information about current measures, quarantine requirements and travel corridors between the US and the rest of the world.
