Picture The Recovery, Nationwide Campaign to Support America’s Tourism and Hospitality Businesses

Nationwide campaign to generate support for tourism and hospitality businesses that continue to suffer amid the Covid-19 crisis.

Kicked off at the St. Pete Pier on January 14, 2021, Picture The Recovery is an across America luxury motorhome road trip with some of the country’s greatest photographers in an effort to raise money and awareness for the members of the hard-hit hospitality industries.

Created by distinguished members of the meetings, associations, hospitality and travel industries, the other reason of Picture The Recovery is to promote, safe and fun travel to the destinations visited.

Some of the America’s greatest photographers will embark on a year-long, cross-country journey to visit some wonderful destinations and spending a day capturing stunning aerial images that the destination can use, absolutely free, to market itself.

Chuck Fazio, the first-ever Artist in residence to American Forest, the nation’s oldest non-profit conservation organization, is one of the Pucture The Recovery’s photographers. Joining Chuck will be a who’s who of the country’s top photojounalists like Gary Hershorn, who for decades lead the Reuters photo team and is recognized as one of the greatest living sports photojournalists.

Through the road trip, Picture The Recovery campaign will raise awareness and funds though the sales of their work and direct donations for the MPI Foundation, a part of Meeting Professional International. MPI itself is the largest association of meeting professionals, with over 20,000 members in 68 chapters and clubs across the world.

Along the way, via media appearances and events held by the destinations, the Picture the Recovery artists will present the sad facts and figures on the decimated state of the hospitality and meetings industries.
