Annouced on January 19, 2021, the new inspirational winter campaign of North Dakota (ND) is geared toward reaching North Dakotans and near-border nonresidents.
Showcasing cool-weather activities and open-air living, the first winter campaign set to inspire discovery of the state’s outdoor recreation, entertainment options and support of small businesses.
As part of the communication strategy, the winter campaign includes a new television commercial, as well as digital, social media and print ads. The winter campaign is planned to run through March in North Dakota and in parts of surrounding states such as Minnesota, South Dakota and Montana.
According North Dakota Tourism and Marketing, from new downtown skating rinks to downhill skiing venues, winter is a great time to enjoy North Dakota. Whether it’s shopping and dining in a new community, taking part in the North Dakota state parks adventure challenge, exploring Theodore Roosevelt National Park, snowmobiling trails or snowshoeing past historic site. Therefore, the winter campaign encourages people to enjoy the winter wonderland safely in North Dakota.
