Kicked off by Bristol City Centre Business Improvement District (BID) on July 2020, #BristolTogether is a city-wide marketing campaign to support Bristol’s local businesses that aimed to raise awareness of a safe reopening of the city and bring Bristolians back to the city centre.
As a partnership initiative from Bristol City Centre BID, Visit Bristol and Broadmead BID, working with Business West and the One City Economy Board, the #BristolTogether campaign reflects that returning to work, study and play must be done within the safety of existing government regulations.
As part of the campaign, businesses and organisations are invited to get involved. A campaign toolkit of elements also has been produced and reasy to use within businesses and organisations’ own marketing. There are also downloadable files with guidelines on how best to use them.
As government lockdown measures start to ease and people start to return to central workplaces, shared communal spaces and other parts of the city centre, the #BristolTogether campaign is reassure those returning to shop, work, study, visit or spend leisure time in the city centre that it remains a safe and welcoming place. As businesses safely reopen and confidence is restored, productivity will return to the local economy and the city will build back better.
The project was also supported by the European Regional Development Fund through HM Government’s Reopening High Streets Safely Fund.
