“Go Big. Go Alaska.” is a travel marketing campaign that aimed to entice tourists to come to Alaska in the upcoming summer holidays season.
“Go Big. Go Alaska.” campaign send us the message that Alaska wants to welcome everyone back in the 2021 summer season to roam big, wander wild and discover more. Everyone is also invited to make those Alaska-sized dreams a reality. Alaska believe, everyone is deserve to go big. From float the fjords, hike the trails, to see the northern lights. Everything is bigger in Alaska – the mountains, the moose, and the sense of adventure.
Through a new partnership between Alaska Airlines and the Alaska Travel Industry Association and its community partners, Alaska Airlines is also offering up to 21 percent off flights in May and June during a six-day sale from March 30 through April 4, 2021. On days that don’t qualify for the 21 percent savings, they are still offering a 10 percent discount on regular fares with the promo code TRAVEL2AK21.
The discount is one of the way to boost the Alaska tourism industry that has suffered through the pandemic. All tourism businesses were impacted by low visitation numbers in 2020, and with the cancellation of cruises in 2021, independent travelers will make up the bulk of the visitors to Alaska.
On April 10, 2021, Gov. Mike Dunleavy also announced that Alaska will conduct a national advertising that intended to show that Alaska is one of the safest destinations in terms of COVID-19 and signaled his intent to work towards a 2021 cruise ship season.
Alaska businesses are also committed to providing enhanced safety and cleaning protocols to ensure that visitors have a safe and healthy experience.
