Announced on May 5, 2021, “Say Yes to Connecticut” is summer marketing campaign of The Constitution State that aimed to promote safe travel and fuel the Connecticut tourism industry’s recovery.
According Connecticut Office of Tourism, the “Say Yes to Connecticut” campaign theme was born out of the proprietary research that shows a growing sense of optimism among Northeast consumers amid the COVID-19 vaccine rollout and pent-up demand for travel, especially regional travel.
Following the impact of COVID-19 pandemic, and after a year of saying “no” to so many things due to the pandemic, the State of Connecticut is encouraging resident and visitors to “Say Yes to Connecticut” and all of its unique experiences this summer.
The “Say Yes to Connecticut” summer marketing campaign is planned to run from May 1 through September 6, 2021. Ads is planned to air on television and social media sites such as Facebook and Instagram. The effort is also expected to incorporate paid search marketing, email marketing and new content published through CTvisit.com, Connecticut’s official tourism website.
The Connecticut State also plans to feature hundreds of businesses and activities, including hotels, inns and B&Bs, restaurants, attractions, museums, historical sites, arts and cultural venues, farms, wineries and breweries, state parks and beaches, nature centers, outdoor recreation, shopping destinations, events, and more.
Connecticut also invite individuals and organizations to participate “Say Yes to Connecticut” summer campaign by using hashtag “#SayYesCT” on social media.
