Now is The Time, Summer Tourism Campaign by Visit Scotland

Summer staycation campaign that encourage Scots to support their local tourism industry by enjoying days out in the country.

Debuted on June 30, 2021, “Now is The Time” is Scotland’s local campaign that aimed to inspire new and repeat visitors to experience some of the things they have missed most this past year – days out, family get-togethers and holidays.

Launched by Visit Scotland, the “Now is The Time” campaign cover five themes starting with days out before moving to short stays, city breaks, family gatherings and escape and connect experiences to benefit physical and mental wellbeing.

Highligths on a number of great palces to visit and explore, the “Now is The Time” tourism campaign also want to inspire visitors and educate them on how to enjoy the country responsibly and respectfully.

As part of the campaign, the Visit Scotland’s website also provide full of advice and suggestions of things to see and do right across the country, from the stunning countryside to exciting cities. Whether it’s discovering somewhere new or experiencing an old favourite in a completely new way, now is the time to enjoy the unique experiences that a holiday in Scotland offers.

According Visit Scotland, tourism is a force for good that creating economic and social value in every corner of Scotland and enhancing the well-being of everyone who experiences it.

The “Now is The Time” campaign is planned to tun throughtout the summer and use a combination of paid media and digital activity including online videos and social media.
